Jun. 27th, 2013 01:19 amFor You: If you want to do something that might cause serious harm to Nunnally, please contact me so we can plot things out. Mun is potentially triggered by abuse scenes and I appreciate your cooperation should we choose to go there. Finally, I won't be writing any smut or inappropriate content for her.
For Me: There are three points that are likely to come up.
❧ Truth-Reading
Nunnally has learned to rely on her other senses to compensate for her blindness. This means she is able to get a pretty accurate reading on whether or not someone is lying to her by touching their hand and paying attention to their pulse, breathing, and other physiological factors. However, characters that have trained in biofeedback will be able to deceive her and her unfamiliarity with your character may also allow them to slip by. Alternatively, a character can just step out of her reach.
If your character does not have normal human biology, Nunnally will probably fail to read them
I don't see her making a huge habit of this, but better safe than sorry.
❧ Arthurian Canon
Lots of important people, things, and places in Code Geass are named after Arthurian characters. For example, Nunnally has a sister named Guinevere and the capitol was called Pendragon. There is an organization named the Knights of the Round and many of the mecha are named after the traditional knights of the round table. I will be treating the stock version of the legends as Britannian canon.
Handy dandy form time!

Can Nunnally truth-read your character?: Bear in mind that this will always require physical contact and is not a blanket permission. Since Nunnally is in a wheelchair, if you change your mind on the particular encounter, it's as simple as stepping out of her reach. I will never just go ahead and do it; I leave the post open-ended when she is reaching for someone else's hand.
Any physiological anomalies?: Such as a character being able to control their heartbeat and breathing. Also if your character has an irregular heartbeat she might pick up on that.
Anything else?: Super-calloused hands? Is this character obviously a writer or a musician? Anything else you'd like Nunna to pick up on can go here.
For Arthurian-based canons:
How would you like any overlap to be handled?: I can't pretend that Nunnally doesn't know anything at all since it's such a large part of Britannian culture. However, she can keep her mouth shut about it or say that she knows someone with that name and leave it at that. If you would just prefer I not tag that character at all, we can do that too.
Is there anything you don't want her to mention?: I don't think this should be a problem since Nunnally would find it rude to be a walking spoiler. But just in case, I would rather err on the side of caution!
